Matt has been recognized by GOLF DIGEST for being a Top Teacher in American Under 40 and A Golf Digest Top Teacher in the State of Florida from 2019 to present. He is regarded as one of the top junior golf coaches in the world. His students are from all corners of the world and include players on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, Epson Tour, and Top College Programs.

 

He is an expert in golf techniques, motor learning, skill development and peak performance coaching. His mission and passion is to help give golfers of all levels the direction they need to play their best golf, find more enjoyment in playing and practicing golf, and achieve their goals. 

 

The results from the students that have gone through his development programs speak for themselves including, 2023 NCAA National Champion, 2024 Western Jr Champion, 2022 U.S Girls Junior Champion, 2021 Florida Amateur Champion, 2016 & 2017 Florida Boys Junior Champion. Over 100 of his junior students have also gone on to play golf in college.

Matt's teaching philosophy focuses on measurable differences between skill & handicap levels and laying out a systematic approach that is highly adaptive and individualized for each specific student based on their level, pattern, and current overall golf game.  His goal is to help the student develop a better understanding of their own tendencies, swings, process, and overall golf game to help them play their best golf.

Matt's instruction with high level junior golfers focuses on establishing tour level short games, proper mental and emotional management in order to perform at a high level, and building a technique that is efficient, repeatable, and reliable under pressure.
